Where can I buy Mozzarella cheese curd - Vancouver

Call me crazy, but I want to try to make bocconcini at home. Does anyone know where in the Vancouver area I can find fresh mozzarella curd? I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone that's tried to make it at home. Thanks all!

  1. you can make the curd, which is half the battle of making bocconcini

    1. you can try gourmet warehouse for rennet tablets to get the curding proces going

        I believe Bosa also has rennet. I'm not sure you could make bocconcini from cold curds to begin with, I think they'd have to be fresh and warm, but I've never tried.
