ISO: Golden Syrup? Lyle's?

I'm looking for some golden syrup, like what's in the UK. Not corn syrup, but its sugar cane juice refined into the syrup. I wanted to make some butter tarts without corn syrup. Any help would be great.

Thanks for all the help, I got some smaller glass jars of it yesterday at the Loblaws on Queens Quay. Does anyone know where to find larger tins, not in glass, I don't want to pay a premium for the container.

Very tough one! For some reason I can only find the treacle in the tins. The syrup always comes in the little jars. Let us(me) know if you have any luck!

All Loblaw's carry Lyle's syrup. I buy it there all the time.

I saw Lyle's yesterday in a full service Metro-Dominion, on White's Rd.

Usually available thru larger Loblaws, where it's often stashed with jams, syrups, honey or with the baking stuff. Would be fun to price check for extortion at Whole Foods...

I know I've seen it at the Queen's Quay Loblaws, but that was quite a while ago. Or it might be worth calling the Chocolate Box on Donlands, they sell British candy.
