My family of big eaters went during their first grand opening weeks. The interior was nicely redeorated with a sushi bar and the smaller entrance on the left was made into a dining extension. A large party was using it as a private room. We had the combination dinners average priced from $14+. I heard a rumor that their sushi chef came over from Yusan, but I cannot confirm since we only had some small rolls with our dinners. While I am not a snob re: the ownership being Japanese or not. I can only say after one visit the cooked food was average. Although better than Niki further south. I believe every new restaurant deserves a few visits. ( I'm waiting for La Bamba to reopen after their closed remodel. Heard anything re:the Indian place near Huong Tra?)

re: kc72
I almost did, but I eat so little Japanese food and my sushi tends to come from ...well, the last time it was Wal-Mart, the one in American Canyon has a sushi counter ... so my report would be useless as to it being good or not. There were a lot of cars in the lot when I drove by the other night so I was curious about it.
