Hey, My bf is craving steak tartare. Where could we find some ( reasonably priced) good tartare in the city(any neighborhood)? thanks!

Craftsteak has the most AMAZING Kobe tartare. Although, it's a bit on the expensive side, it's totally worth with the spurge...

I second Craftsteak and Balthazar. The former isn't the traditional interpretation but the beef quality is great. Balthazar is authentic and very good as well.

Blue Ribbon Bakery and Les Halles (mentioned) also serve decent steak tartare.

I liked Solex too for the tartare.

I had good steak tartare at Bar Boulud, the bar room at the Modern in the MOMA and Pere Pinard.

The one at Les Halles is excellent.
