Princeton Rehearsal Dinner ideas?? - Moved from Tristate board

I'm looking to potentially host a rehearsal dinner in the heart of downtown Princeton. Not sure where - probably about 50 people, would need a private room or area, and the rental of a projector or other kind of computer-to-slide-show screen. Any thoughts or recommends?

Much appreciated!!

I recall Tre Piani having a private upstairs room. I've always liked the food. And if any guests are overnighters, the Westin is within walking distance.

Tre Piani, Salt Creek Grill & Ruth's Chris are all located in the Forrestal Village shopping/office complex (off Route 1) - a bit out in suburbia vrs downtown Princeton. All could handle Jel's party, but would consider these three and others in the area - if a downtown Princeton location isn't important. : )

Those all sound good, thanks! I wanted folks to travel into town to have that full experience, if we're staying at one of the hotels on Rt 1, but could be open to the other locations, too.

There's three places in the heart of downtown Princeton, you may consider:

      -- Lahieres

      -- Nassau Inn
      http://www.nassauinn.com/index.html

      -- Witherspoon Grill

Also, you may want to post on the Mid-Atlantic board (covers "central NJ") as there are a lot of Princeton area hounds active there.

The Nassau Inn is probably your best bet for a place with a projector. It's really nice and has a lot of history. There is a painting by Norman Rockwell in the pub.
