Private room, N Miami Beach to Ft Lauderdale?

I'm looking for a place with high-quality, chowhound-approved food that has a private room, and that's anywhere from North Miami Beach to Ft. Lauderdale. It's for a big family reunion-type gathering on Dec 26. Any thoughts?

you can take the back room of Casa D'Angelo in Ft. Lauderdale if you have enough people. the food is very good northern italian.

Okay, so no takers on your post. Could be there's a problem with the "high-quality, chowhound-approved food" and the "private room" requirements. I personally can't think of anything that has both, but I do know that Bimini Boatyard has a nice-sized private room on the water with decent food and they will work with you if it's available. Also, Sterling Worth Cafe in Plantation has a nice room (I haven't been there in years) in Plantation. The food there was also decent. Good luck and let us know what you came up with.
