christmas cookies

i am in the east 60's and i need some christmas cookies for a party this sun. i was going to bake on sat but i am not sure i will have time. anyone have any suggestions for some old fashioned christmas cookies...sugar cookies, gingerbread, Pfeffernussen, etc? help :)
