Mercer county....anybody know where to buy Everclear 151?

Everybody has 180 proof and most don't know what Everclear makes 151. Does anybody have a source in Mercer County? I'm making homemade cordials and 180 won't cut it.

Have you tried Smirnoff blue label -- it's triple distilled, and I've used it for both quince and tart cherry cordials.

never tried it. The recipes I found here are to steep Orange/lemon/anise in 2 cups for 6 days, then add 1.5 cups of simple syrup. Are the recipes similar?

My best bet would be Canal's in the Hamilton Marketplace on Route 130 in Yardville, or perhaps Shop-Rite Liquors on Quakerbridge Road in Mercerville. I suggest calling first so you do not make a wasted trip.

Why not just add water to the 180 proof (90% abv) Everclear to bring it down to 75% alcohol level of the 151 proof stuff required for the recipe? That's what the distiller does, after all.

(How much water? Hmm...might be a good math problem for a middle school student if you know one- I can't figure it out.)
