I just received a gift certificate for this restaurant. I haven't been there in many years and their website does not have prices. Roughly what is the price range for 2 people expect for dinner, if we assume a glass of moderately priced wine each, two appetizers or salads, two entrees, and two desserts?

Thanks.

your gift-giving friend likes you - your anticipated dinner will run between $100 and $150 excluding tax and service - buon appetito!

I would plan on the upper-end of Howard's range. One recommendation for an entree -- the duck with Italian cherries, deglazed with grappa. So good. I've gotten that the last few times I've been there. Instead of two appetizers or salads, you might consider splitting one appetizer and splitting one pasta. The risottos are always good.

I personally swoon over the sweetbreads (definitely split them as they're very rich) and especially the venison ravioli.

ITC is a fine restaurant, wish I could afford to go more often.

I don't know how mucg your GC is for ... but one of the most decadent lovely lunches I've had in a very long time was in the cozy bar at il terrazo. Really one for the ages, we were pampered and the food was old school fabulous.
