Lunch place for large group, North york

Hey there,

I am looking for a place to take a largeish group (16-20) for lunch somewhere in or around North York. It's for a 50th birthday for a work collegue and it's really last minute... Oh and it has to have at least one vegetarian option... Any suggestions?

  1. Can you be a bit more specific on the area? Major intersection etc...

      Hey Raquel,

We are at Yonge and 401, but anywhere in a ten minute drive would be fine.

    2. Moxies -or Milestones?

      1. Ah, great thank. Not sure about your budget, but as someone else suggested, Milestones is a good bet.

Also, although a little further drive, Miller Tavern and Richtree (Bayview/York Mills).

Mr. Greek around there too 4914 Yonge St.

And, Baton Rouge at 5050 Yonge St.

It looks like Milestones is our closest bet, they can seat us in the downstairs bar area. It's not ideal, but with a few drinks I'm sure it'll seem fine. ;)

        2. While Miller Tavern has never been praised for its food on this board (I think), it is large and has semi-private areas that would suit your group.

Le Montmarte has a private room for about 25 people -

Paese also has a private room -

Haven't heard much about Bon Vivant but they also have a private room and are on Avenue south of Wilson -

With everyone booking holiday parties, good luck with your last minute birthday party. Let us know where you end up and how it worked out.

Thanks for the suggestions! I've checked and none of them can accomodate us. It's short notice and the holiday season. :(

          2. Have you tried Wildfire? They are on Yonge, just a little further South of the Miller Tavern.

              how about paisano: http://www.paisano.ca/home.html

or bayview village: there are a few restos in the mall (oliver & bonacini, il fornello, etc)
