The Modern Restaurant Private Room

Has anyone used or been to the Private Room at the Modern Restaurant at the Museum of Modern Art. The room seats about 65. Was it an enjoyable experience.? Did the food seem too esoteric? Was the service good? Did the space seem conducive to a celebration like an anniversary or adult birthday? If you had a party, did it cost more than you expected? Any other comments appreciated.

I looked at the space for a potential holiday party for my company...Needless to say, we didn't go with that option. Personally, I found the private room to be quite sterile. However, the hors d'oeuvres offerings sounded lovely on paper. Beyond that, I don't have much more information.
