Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in Manhattan

Private Dining Rooms for about 30ppl

We are looking to throw either a cocktail/apps or a dinner party for about 30-40 ppl to celebrate a graduation. We'd like to spend less than $100pp (thinking $75 or so) - does any one have any experiences doing this and suggestions on possible venues? We are open to location and type of food.

Gusto on Greenwich Ave and Perry. They have a cool back room.
