I assume they stocked it. Prior to Thanksgiving I grabbed one of the little planning/recipe booklets they put out every year. This year there wasn't a single from-scratch recipe in it! They were all based on W-S packaged foods like the pumpkin butter. So, since they have so much invested in them it wouldn't make any sense for them not to stock the stuff.

More likely, using the planner was a good marketing strategy and/or they stocked less anticipating the effect of the softer economy.

Soooo very kind of you to offer to supply some. In fact, I have an excellent and super easy recipe for pumpkin butter that's a family favorite. I just wanted to compare it to what you spoke so highly of. Besides, there are other W-Ss in my area that I'll check when I'm in those vicinities.
