Anybody know where in D.C. or Maryland you can buy sufganiyot, the Hannukah doughnuts?

We usually get jelly donut munchkins from Dunkin Donuts, but I noticed Trader Joes was selling frozen ones, so we're going to try those as well (and maybe try making some).

You could try Shalom on University Boulevard in Wheaton or the Pastry Oven in the strip center across from Magruder's on Kemp Mill Road in Silver Spring. Both of them should have them if not this week, certainly next week.

My co-worker brought in freshly made ones from Kosher Mart in Rockville yesterday which were really good. You have to order them, but they make them throughout Hanukah.

I just back back the Kosher Mart in Rockville (the Boiling Brook location), and they had a lot of sufganiyot on hand. They're very tasty!

I pretty sure that you can get them at Shalom on University Blvd and the Pastry Oven in Kemp Mill.

There was a nice article about the sufganiyot at the Kosher Pastry Oven in today's Metro section.
