Just a had a pretty damn good cup of the stuff. I forgot how much I like it. That version happened to be a vegan one, but being the carnivore that I am, I'm looking for some that is chock full of smokey swine! Where might I find a great version? Hopefully in midtown or below. Bring it on!

i have some foggy (i.e. red wine-soaked) memories of eating good split pea soup at Veselka...it's been a while since i've been there, but i'm pretty sure split pea soup is always on the menu

Had some great split pea soup at The Half King (W. 23rd and 10th ave). Don't know if it's a regular on the menu though.

Dishes on 45th St.'s fresh herb split pea is unreal- it too is dairy and meat free but still manages to taste awesome.
