I would skip the coronette and go to Bruce’s Cheese Emporium, which is across the street.

We've never eaten at Coronet, but whenever we take a ride out east we have lunch at the Country Corner Cafe, right next to the IGA in Southold, a bit west of Greenport. It's set up like an ice cream parlor/diner, with comfortable booths and excellent food. I've had the very good hand-pattied burger several times, french fries and rings are crisp, hot, and delicious. the fish and chips are also excellent, with really good slaw. My wife loves the turkey club. They also serve breakfast all day and make fine pancakes. And they serve Hershey's ice cream.
