Best Gift Baskets?
There's a kitchen in San Francisco's Mission district that helps food entrepreneurs and their businesses get off the ground. It's called La Cocina, and lots of local favorites (claire squares, kika's treats and cmb sweets) are produced there. This year they're offering gift baskets with a big selection of products, from $23-$113, depending on the size and variety.

draeger's is perfect for this. i used to send gift baskets to clients (on behalf of my ceo) across the country through draegers and they made it incredibly easy. i think the gift baskets come from the menlo park location, so call that branch first. i did this all over the phone. you can set a budget, like "$95-105." you can specify types of things to include or not include, like "local only" or "kosher only" or "no fatty things for the client with a cholesterol problem." or specify a theme, like "cocktail hour" or "sweets and coffee." whatever you want. although i think you can pick it all out yourself, i usually just let them do it, since they know the products far better than i could.
they work with you, pick out great stuff but stay exactly in the specified budget, and put it in pretty baskets nicely displayed. the clients were always very impressed. highly recommended.
