Is there a website where you could type in the ingredients you have in the kitchen and it would give you a recipe; does anyone know one? Thanks.

Check http://www.cookthink.com which doesn't have a very large database yet, but does what you're describing.

I've found this site to be a good source for ideas but it always seems that the recipes call for at least one or two ingredients that I don't have on hand and, in my situation, it's fifteen miles to the grocery store. But I agree it's a lot of fun to use it as an idea resource.

allrecipes.com is my go to for situations like this. lots of recipes, user reviews, and often pictures of the finished product. use the 'ingredient search' option. you can also refine your search based on type of dish, ingredients you want to exclude, or even keywords in a title.

My favorite for this would be www.epicurious.com. Most recipes from Bon Appetit and Gourmet, and they have user reviews as well.

The enhanced recipe search at myrecipes.com is pretty good: http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/rec...

I use http://www.supercook.com/ they have a large data base and were able to come up with recipes that are quick and easy without tasting quick and easy! I love it.
