                For the past decade I've taken the wife and four kids to The Pacific Dining Car on Wilshire on the westside. Wonderful atmosphere and great food. Bring you wallet.

                    Yes, although you might just be better off scrounging through a garbage can ... you can eat better AND save your money!

                    Sorry, but I cannot even begin to assert how strongly I feel that Splichal and the Patina Group are overrated.

                      Sorry to say that I've only done drinks there, but the Bel Air Hotel bar is MAGICAL on Christmas Eve. Romantic. Quiet. Old Fashioned. One of my favorite places on that night....
