Christmas Eve Dinner in Fairfield or Westchester County

SaraASR Dec 14, 2008 06:15 PM

Coming into town from Boston and would love some recommendations for Christmas Eve dinner. Was thinking of going down to Arthur Avenue but think parking/traffic might be a little crazy. Can anyone recommend great some restaurants that will be serving Xmas Eve? Was thinking Italian (Feast of the Seven Fishes would be great), Indian, or anything else noteworthy. Thank you!

In Stamford you might want to try Spazzio for Italian, but I don't know if they have a special menu. Dakshin is an Indian restaurant also in Stamford. They are right downtown on Summer street, and they have decent food.

      Hi there,

I heartily recommend Ching's Table in New Canaan for outstanding Asian Fusion.

Ching's Table and their sister restaurant Sushi 25 are great. If you go to Ching's please order the szechuan dumplings. Against their name they are not spicey but come with a lovely peanut sauce.

I just received this email menu from Meigas about their Christmas Eve and Christmas Day dinners, and it looks great. Meigas is an excellent Spanish restaurant in Norwalk.
