I heart Buffalo wings.
Where are the best?? I like them mild, and REALLY vinegary, preferably with homeade sauce. I hate to say it, but my favorite's are from Wing Street. (Pizza Hut). So how about me upping my palate, and trying out some at a REAL restaurant, maybe one with some beers on tap? Let me know, Chowhounders!! (And please do not say Hooters, they suck there. Besides being too greasy, I don't think they are BUFFALO wings, so much as just fried wings.)

Ye Rustic Inn is a great place to start if you're trying to find new places for your wings rotation. Traditional, sauced Buffalo wings, I don't remember them being too spicy . . . not to say that they don't OFFER them hotter but when I had them they were pretty mild but very flavorful.

re: handlertaper
The sauce at The Slice is good. They do have the super secret Suicide sauce that doesn't appear on the menu. I wouldn't recommend it as it is REALLY super hot. It's the kind of hot where it's all heat and no flavor. Not that enjoyable. But I usually get a mix of the hot and suicide just to kick up the regular hot. The only issue that I have with this place is while the quality of the sauce is great, the bad thing is the consistency of the wing. More often than not, they have been fried for way too long and end up on the dried out side.
