Hi! I'm planning to give a few friends home made cheesecakes for the holidays and I'm looking for nice ways of packaging them. Where can I find nice cake boxes, or even plain ones that I can dress up with ribbon? Any suggestion will be appreciated :-) Thanks!

If you are just buying a few boxes for the holiday baking, and don't want to go through the hassle of getting a membership at McCall, you can always go to Bulk Barn (any location should do). It comes in various sizes, all plain boxes. Michaels might have some. I'm not sure if they are more expensive than Bulk Barn's.

yup, bulk barn is good. also, there's a place on Richmond, just west of Spadina on the north side that i used to buy boxes from...it's literally a box store for mostly fashion stuff (think shirt boxes) that I used to use for my catering gigs....

I third bulk barn, they also have those nice foil boards, if you wanted to set the cake on a board and then wrap with cellophane. They definately cater to the home baker!
