Kid friendly Brunch/lunch near Brandeis?

Looking for a lunch place to take the kids before watching the Nutcracker at Brandeis... any suggestions for Sunday brunch?

  1. Try a search for Moody St - lots of places there, maybe good for brunch/lunch...Couple miles from Brandeis.

    1. Many of the larger hotels along Route 128, such as the Westin and the Doubletree serve brunch, but the food is only so so and they tend to be expensive (the Westin was $25 for adults for their all-you-can-eat buffet last time I was there a few years ago).

My choice would be Joseph's Two, a family-run, greasy spoon breakfast place on Main Street in Waltham, fairly close to Brandeis. The food is good and the price is right. Note that although they normally serve lunch too, on Sundays they only serve breakfast (although they are open until the afternoon).

      1. Moody street has an Upper Crust and its right near Lizzie's for icecream afterwards.
