Late night in Santa Fe?
Looking for best restaurant(s) still serving at 11pm on a midweek night. Any suggestions? New Mexican cuisine preferred, but I know beggars can't be choosers. Thanks.

I seem to remember Zia Diner being open later than most. Try Del Charro at Inn of the Governors, small bar menu but they usually serve till Midnight.
I think Hotel St. Francis also had a pub menu that serves late.
Atomic is a standby, but also try Burrito Spot, near St. Mike's and Cerrillos. Good Mexican food, they are usually open til 3 am. I used to stop by after last call.
Pranzo used toserve a limited late night menu, but I haven't been there in years, so not sure.
It's true that Santa Fe closes early, but there are a few places that are open late, you just have to look closely.
Hope this helps. NaCl›2 Replies-

I dont know what people see in Zia Diner... I had the worst breakfast of my life there! It may have just been an off day or something, but yuck... no one at our table was happy. Its pretty hard (or at least I thought) to screw up biscuits and gravy, but they did... the gravy tasted like alfredo sauce with a little pepper in it.. perhaps they messed up and gave that to me on accident... well... I wont be back to say the least.

Try the Atomic Cafe, its right next to Pasquals... I'm not sure how late they're open on weekdays but weekends they're open till I think 3 am... and Im sure we've been there late late on a weeknight too. I love their wood fired pizzas, plus you can get breakfast all day.
