Nonalcoholic Drinks [Minneapolis]

My pregnant wife and I are headed out for a night on the town this evening in downtown Minneapolis-- the Chambers Kitchen specifically. I was wondering if anybody knew of a bar/restaurant in downtown Minneapolis that had a decent selection of handcrafted, nonalcoholic drink options. Any input on this topic would be much appreciated by both me and the little lady. Thanks!

  1. I would suggest the bar at Porter & Frye in the Hotel Ivy.

I heartily second the Porter & Frye suggestion. My wife and I have been set up with a non-alcoholic pairing each of the times we've done their tasting menu. The drinks are creative, tasty, and fun!

And while we've only dined at P&F, the bar looks to be a cool place to hang out. And maybe munch on a few tasty morsels from what we think is the best kitchen in the Cities.

    2. Off the top of my head, I've had really good nonalcoholic bar menus at La Belle Vie, Saffron, and Barrio. Each offers several creative options.

      1. It won't help for your downtown outing, but I would highly recommend that the two of you try out Cafe Maud sometime for the nonalcoholic drinks. The list is AMAZINGLY thorough and creative and every time I'm there I think it would be a great place to take a pregnant woman.

        1. I would bet that Chambers itself has great non-alcoholic drinks. I always enjoy the selection of unique drinks. I think they have a very creative bar in the lobby that would have something that would tickle your wife's fancy. Check out their menu or give them a call.
