Private Party Room in Monmouth County

Anyone have any suggestions of a restaurant with a private party room in the Monmouth County area? I'm looking to host an engagement lunch party for about 60 people and need to accommodate vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians.

Salt Creek Grille in Rumson is very nice, waterfront and reasonably priced.

I just hosted my second luncheon at Trinity in Keyport for an association I belong to. They offered us a vegetarian entree (mushroom risotto) as well as a chicken and fish choice Everything was excellent again. And because they are not open for lunch, we had the entire restaurant for ourselves.

Italian restaurants work well for carnivores, pescatarians, and vegetarians. SamVera, in Marlboro, has private facilities, but I don't know it they can accommodate 60.

Was just at the newly open Stella Marina in Asbury Park last night and they have a beautiful upstairs room (overlooks the ocean) that is available for private parties. Accommodates up to 100. The food was pretty decent. Its new so they have some kinks to work out but the menu can def accommodate both veggie and meat eaters alike.

We have not been to Stella Marina. But I, for one, would be very skittish about having a major function at a brand new restaurant that has "some kinks to work out." Iirc, this is the restaurant where bgut1 and his wife waited one hour for his appetizers, an additional hour for their mains, and had to send her pork chops back three times before the kitchen got it right. Kinks to work out? Indeed!
