Sunday dinner in the 6th or 7th

mizzlizz Dec 12, 2008 11:51 AM

Looking for suggestions. I've noticed that a lot of the better restaurants are closed on Sunday.
We'd like to have a nice meal, reasonably priced Sunday evening, please help.
Thanks, Liz

In the 7th there are 2 that come to mind and they are across the Fontaine de Mars from each other on rue St. Dominique; Fables de la Fontaine(all seafood) and La Fontaine de Mars which is a classic SW bistro.

Fontaines de Mars and Fables des la Fontaine are indeed good options. Also l'Auberge Bressane, le Florimond, Fish, le Comptoir du Relais, la Rotonde, Joséphine chez Dumonnet. In the 5th, Christophe, La Rotisserie du Beaujolais.

Souphie, I bow to your expertise, but unless there has been a recent change I am pretty sure that Le Florimond and Chez Dumonet are closed on Sundays.

Le Florimond and Joséphine Chez Dumonet are both closed on Sunday.

          Some others open:
          Pasco, Blvd. Latour-Maubourg, 7th
Le Parc aux Cerfs , Rue Vavin, 6th
