HELP! Need quick dinner rec for tonight

cseshag Dec 12, 2008 10:34 AM

Hey NY 'hounds! I'm a Boston 'hound in for business. My colleagues and I are trying to come up with a good dinner rec for tonight. We're staying in midtown, but would much prefer dining down in the Village, SoHo, etc. Here are the parameters:

1) Ethnic - thinking either Middle Eastern or East Asian (maybe Japanese noodles or some great Chinese).

2) Not too expensive - maybe $20-$25 per person without alcohol.

3) We're a group of about 7-8, so some place where we can get in on a Friday night.

Thanks in advance! Sorry about the last minute plea :)...

Try Kuma inn, its BYOB and the food is fantastic. Small Plates.

I would recommend doing an opentable search for that many people.
On the other hand I ate at Eletteria (sp?) on 8th st and Macdougal and it was fantastic
