Boston Common Post-Movie Sun Night

I'll be with a film club Sun night at at the Boston Common theater. We're looking for a place to eat afterwards that's casual allows for conversation, and is relatively inexpensive. We could have anywhere from 6-15 people and won't know till then, so a reservation isn't possible. Our normal spot is Remington's but we're trying to do better. I've searched this board and found a few ideas.

Silvertone would probably be perfect (if there wasn't a wait), but they're closed Sun. What about downstairs at Marliave? Could they deal with a large group at the last minute on a Sun night?

It will be a random group of people so adventurous probably isn't wise. Though Penang, Montien, and Xinh Xinh seem like possiblities. Thoughts?

Any other suggestions?

A bunch of us went to Marliave (downstairs) a few weeks ago on a Sunday and it wasn't all that crowded.

Montien is always a good choice. I like downstairs at Marliave as well. Another option if you're in the mood for burgers and the like would be Intermission Tavern.

We ended up having 6 people and went to Intermission Tavern. It worked out well and everyone enjoyed it. I think the hit was the maple bourbon cream sauce on the fried chicken. We got there at about 8pm and it would have been difficult to seat much bigger party. But it seems clear we won't be going to Remington's again.
