I have 2/3 of a block of tamarind that I bought to use for a specific recipe. How do I store the leftover tamarind, how long will it keep, and what can I use it for (wasn't thrilled with the recipe I tried.)
Mine is kept in the fridge...it seems to keep sort of indefinitely.
I usually use it for hot pot.
I could also see it going with some slow braised pork, or a twist on anything BBQ
