What to order at Bar Blanc?
I was there in early September, shortly after the change of chefs (I do need to get back there soon), and the food was just as good as on previous visits, as was the service. The menu has changed somewhat since then, but the chicken, pork loin, and black cod have been around for awhile and would be fine choices. The sweetbreads appetizer, which is always there but with varying accompaniments, now includes pork belly. Sounds like a great combination to me. I do agree it is unfortunate that some great pasta dishes have been eliminated.
sorry to break the news but bar blanc has seriously declined in quality since the original chef left. it's quite overpriced and service has taken a dive.
i can barely recommend anything there these days. the pastas were fantastic originally but were gone from the menu when i last went in september.
