Good, not fancy eats-- Lincoln Plaza Cinema

Can anyone recommend a good, not expensive place for a quickish dinner that would be appropriate either pre or post movie going at Lincoln Plaza Cinemas (on B'way and low 60s.) Should be within walking distance of the theatre.

If you like Indian food, Sapphire is a block or two south.

Nougatine now offers a $35 3 course prix-fix menu before 6:30, and after 10. I think Compass also offers one too.

If you feel like taking a walk up to 77th, West Branch is a great new casual restaurant.

West Branch is Tom Valenti's new spot - Ouest-ish but lower price point. I haven't been yet, but have heard nothing but positive feedback.
