Any good places to pick up a dinner salad in Los Feliz?

sometimes after a good workout at the gym, I feel my healthy side kick in and want to pick up a salad for dinner. The problem is, i haven't been able to find one to satisfy my salad cravings. Does anyone in Los Feliz do a good dinner salad?

Try the Yummy in my Tummy Spinach Salad at Home. I eat it without dressing. It is warm, with chicken breast chunks, slightly wilted red onion, tomatoes, and warm goat cheese. It is delicious and healthy.

HIt the Gelson's salad bar at Hyperion & Griffith Park Blvd. Quite a nice selection of veggies, chicken, tuna, tofu, and a wide selection of dressings, yet you might already have one at home that you like in which case you don't even have to dress it until you are ready to eat it at home.

If by "pickup" you mean take out, I second the Gelson's on Hyperion. I haven't been to the Mayfair Market on Franklin for a while; the last time I went there was construction and the salad bar was closed, but it used to be just as good.

Il Capriccio Pizzeria's salads are good as well, esp. the spinach or arugula.

no offense, but il carpriccio pizzeria's salads are HORRIBLE. I like their pizzas but stay clear from their salads.

I've done the Gelson's salad bar, and while it's ok, it's nothing spectacular. Looking for something more interesting.

I like the salads at Louises Trattoria, Los Feliz and Hillhurst. There is a BBQ chicken, origanal, seared ahi....They are also HUGE.

I just read on Etaer LA that Little Dom's will be opening a take-out counter next week, including salads:

Don't know if I've ever had a salad there, but if it's anything like the rest of their menu it will be a) very good and b) expensive.

I've done takeout a few times at Tropicalia on Hillhurst -- I enjoy their salads (although I'm not so sure how healthy they really are).
