Holiday lunch recommendation Greenwich-Larchmont

My sister's and I usually go to L'Escale in Greenwich for special birthday and holiday lunches. No matter what we do, it ends up costing a fortune, which we can't really afford right now. I'm looking for a festive place (between Larchmont and Greenwich), maybe with a lunch prixe fix. Right now, we are planning to go to Le Provencal, but their prixe fix is $16.00, which doesn't include dessert. I think that's high. We probably have a glass of wine, so I'm hoping to do it for around $30.00/pp.

    1. Pascal's in Larchmont has a prix fixe dinner and although it draws an older crowd, it's a lovely, old fashioned French restaurant. Reminds me of the kind of place every small town in France has. Kind of charming the way the older folks get all dressed up to dine here. Plates in Larchmont is much more hip and very good. Can be expensive, but they have some special deals like BYOB on Wednesdays and a prix fixe that night. Check their site which may be platesonthepark.com - something like that. FISH in Portchester is good and fun, but probably better to go for lunch as it can be expensive. If you like Asian, the new Haiku Asian Bistro on Mamaroneck Ave. is good, as is Bar Vivace on Halstead Ave. in Mamaroneck. Gets crowded on weekend nights, so try lunch there.
