New Year's Eve Restaurants? [Dallas]

Anyone have an experience they can share? We usually like to go out to a late seating and stay til midnight. We're new to Dallas and so don't have much to go on.

We'd want to focus on the Downtown/Deep Ellum/Lakewood/Uptown/Park Cities side of town, if that helps.

I heard through friends that the Lakewood country club is having a big to-do. I think it was $100 per person and might include drinks. Although the food might be just the typical country club fare, the experience will be good with casino and dancing.

Depends on what you want to spend. But, Stephen Pyles is having a special food/wine pairing menu on New Years' Eve. The late seating is 9:30. The late dinner is $150 or $225 with wine for a 7 course menu.

I don't mind spending the dough - so long as it's a lively place and the food is good.
