Where can I get grain alcohol?

I'm looking for food-grade grain alcohol, as it supposedly makes better limoncello than vodka. But where can I get this good stuff in the DC area? Many thanks!

many liqour stores, especially those in some of the seedier sections of town carry straight grain alcohol. I can't vouch for the flavour tho.

That being said I am lazy and have resorted to buying a store bought lemoncello that i really like... better than anthing I have ever made. Too bad there's not even an empty bottle here so I could let you what the brand is.

It's usually under the name "Everclear", it should be available at any liquor store unless there are weird liquor laws restricting it.

Such as we have here in Virginia. Don't bother looking for it here.

Grain Alcohol is sold as Everclear, a brand of neutral grain spirit that is available at concentrations of 151 proof and 190 proof. You can get Everclear at most liquor stores. Plain Ole Pearsons in DC carries it
