New Year's Eve Dinner (San Diego)

My GF and I were thinking of hitting up a place for dinner on New Year's Eve, not sure if we want to stay there all night. Anyone have recommendations based on a previous New Year's dinner?

So far in mind:

Starlite
Urban Solace
3rd Corner

Thanks

    I hate NYE.

That being said, Starlite should be a great move.

I went with a group of 15 to Avenue 5 (Bankers Hill area) last NYE. We had a great time. Food and service were excellent. I recall the cost was about $85-$90 pp with bevs and tip.

our group has swelled to 12 people, making it more difficult. Any other suggestions? Thanks

I know The WIne Vault and Bistro has two seatings on New Year's Eve with a 5 course paired menu. I haven't been there on New Years but have attended several of there wine dinners and have really enjoyed it.
            Good luck!

I am not a huge fan of NY eve. I think places just jack up the fees and have a not so great prix fixe meal. That being said, I have been out the last couple of years and we had a nice meal. I go to off the menu places, and usually a steak place, cuz they can't put that in a warming pan and let it sit around. We did Red Tractons last year. We went kinda early and that place is so old school, it was fun and the food was up to their standards. We were home in plenty of time to avoid the drunks on the road and it was not too far from our house. Once we got home, we had a great toast of champ.
