Good fries Carroll Gardens or Cobble Hill?

I am drawing a total blank as to where to find them. Any ideas?

Well, not exactly in the neighborhood you asked for, but Downtown Atlantic is solid on the fries. Goes well with their burger or pulled pork or po' boy.

      Bar Tabac on Smith.

You can also try the Atlantic ChipShop. I have only been to the one in Park Slope. The fries were pretty good if I recall. Haven't tried the Atlantic Ave. one yet though.

I haven't been there in a while, but I recall the fries at Tabac being pretty good...

I second Tabac. My favorite fries around here.

Third them, but only if you get the mussels to go along.

And the mayo. I think they make it themselves. It sure ain't Hellman's.

The fries and burgers at Union/Smith (Smith and Union, can't remember) are very good.

I'm a big fan of the fries at Le Petite Cafe.

I'll echo the Bar Tabac recs and plug Cafe Luluc's fries, too.

Luluc's fries are great when they're fresh, but the last couple of times (weekday brunch) i've been served old ones that are clearly from the night before--already been twice fried and now fried a third time to warm them up.
