RE: Looking for Peruvian Food Products???

After a visit to La Mar last week I'm looking for places (stores/markets) that have Peruvian food products in the Bay Area....any help is much appreciated....

  1. El Chico Produce Market on Mission at Brazil in SF has a small Peruvian grocery section.

    El Chico Produce
4600 Mission St, San Francisco, CA

    1. Evergreen Market on Mission between 21st and 22nd. Has a lot of South American products, and Peru in particular.
Also, there is a mailbox place, not mail boxes etc., but something similar, that randomly has some peruvian products. It is located on 21st Street, between Valencia and Lexington, right next to Serrano's Pizza, across the Street from Bartlett parking lot.

Now that's an interesting lead, would the mail box place be:

        Mail Carrier Etc
        3288 21st Street
        San Francisco, CA 94110
        (415) 648-4620

and what type of products does it randomly sell?

        Evergreen Market
2539 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA

Yes, that's it! Some canned goods, drink powder mixes . . . i think inka cola, that type of thing. Aji amarillo! very odd assortment, especially given the locale. Nice guy who runs the place.
