Inexpensive eats downtown?

Hi all!
I'm headed to TO for a weekend and was looking for some good inexpensive eats close to Front & Spadina - if the food is super, I definately wouldn't say no to a commute. Particularly wanting a great dessert place and breakfast spot. Thanks in advance!

  1. It would help if you mentioned what your budget is, because I don't know if you want to spend $5 or $15 for breakfast.

      Definately no more than $10

Jules is definitely more than $10. It's about $25 per person, but that's cheap for French food, unfortunately. Bad area for cheap food (unless you want street meat or fast food) My personal favourite on the west side right now is the Prague (www.theprague.ca) on Queen, west of Bathurst. A hearty meal can be had for around $10 easily.

    2. Jules Bistro is pretty good and for great desserts, try Le Gourmand www.legourmand.com
