Christmas Eve Dinner
My boyfriend's mom and sister will be coming into the city for the 23rd and 24th and I'm trying to figure out a good eating itinerary, particularly for Christmas Eve. I was thinking about going to an Italian restaurant that serves the Feast of the Seven Fishes or something similarly special. Any ideas? I have looked into Lupa, and that's definitely a possibility, but would love other suggestions. I'm from NYC, but have never gone out for Christmas Eve dinner, so I'm just as excited as they are!

I brought my mom to Babbo for Christmas Eve last year. It can be a difficult reservation to get, but boy was it worth it. She's tough to please and she was still talking about how great a time she had six months later! They had a special Christmas Eve tasting menu (along the lines of Seven Fishes), and we were so happy with it we are going again this year!
