Trying to remember ice cream place in Albany

Hi all.

Back in the mid '80s, I lived in Albany, near the Empire State Plaza. I remember a great ice-cream shop nearby. I'm pretty sure it was on Madison Ave, opposite Washington Park. It was owned by an older couple and everything was handmade on site. They had a little room in back where they'd show movies on a TV and you could sit and watch a whole movie while eating. Another thing was that many of their flavors were alcoholic.

Anyone remember this place? I'm pretty sure it's not there anymore. Did it move?

It was called Daleah's, long gone. They were well-known for a pretty boozy bourbon ice-cream; I could never figure out how they got it to freeze.

Thanks for the answer! Too bad it's gone - it was such a cool place. Not many places like that in SoCal, although the Farrell's chain is supposed to make a comeback in the next few months.
