Non-alcoholic wine - non horrible?

I need to get some non-alcoholic wine for the holidays, and I don't much like the stuff I have gotten from Safeway and Superstore. Does all non-alcoholic wine taste so yucky? Are there any brands that are better, and if so, where can I get them?

Willow Park carries the one of the widest selections in the city. I tried them all while pregnant and didn't like any of the reds. There was one white that wasn't too bad. Its at least a start...but after my experience with them, I figured if I couldnt have the realy thing I'd rather just stick to somethigs else.

There's a carbonated drink you can get at Ikea that's pretty good. It comes in a wine-style bottle. I remember liking the pear flavour.

It looks like it's called Kristian Regale:

My suggestion would be to buy some club soda and mix it with some juice or flavoured syrup. I agree that the non-alcoholic ones are just awful, a lot of them are way too tart for my liking. My mom buys her from Famous Foods on Kingsway near Knight in Vancouver. The peach one she buys is okay, not great but pallable. Another option are the flavoured carbonated water offered at the grocery markets.
