If you haven't had a chance to eat at Del Posto, this might be the time to go. I was there on Wednesday night, and could have walked in and gotten a table. After being advised to reserve first thing in the day for the Enoteca, I arrived to find half the tables empty and empty tables in the restaurant as well. Perhaps as a result, I had wonderful attentive service, enjoyed my food very much, and got to listen in on conversations both in the Enoteca and in the restaurant (the diners above me seemed to be having a raucous time.) I wonder if the economic downturn is having an impact, because a place like Del Posto relies so much on the hedge fund crowd.

Thanks for the report. I haven't been to the Enoteca in a year or so, and it's good to know that it's still one of the great deals in town.
