ISO: Japanese in West LA

we're craving for some good sashimi but outrageously expensive like urasawa and it has to be baby friendly.

I've been using the search button but no luck! I've only seen u-zen, mitsuwa (which is only a food court), hide sushi, etc. Any suggestions?

All good bets. Kiriko is my personal favorite of the three mentioned.

Kiriko on Sawtelle. There are lots of Japanese places on Sawtelle, but Kiriko is the best for sushi. Musha is also good, but never had sushi there. It's more of an Izakaya Japanese pub with great, cheap food. There's one in Santa Monica and Torrance.

i believe that musha does not serve sushi, however since JMan604 requested sashimi, musha may well fit the bill as far as the food goes.

be aware, though, that the tables at musha are small and crammed together--don't know how this would affect JMan's judgement regarding it's 'baby-friendliness.'
