Where can I buy confit duck legs in Pittsburgh?
Hi all - trying out some new winter recipes and a pasta dish calls for confit duck legs... I'm assuming the Market District and probably even the Whole Foods isnt going to have this. Any tips from food shoppers in Pittsburgh would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
I actually saw them, about a year ago, at the Market District Giant Eagle near South Hills Village. They were pre packaged and vacuum sealed. If i remember correctly they were somewhere in the area around the cheeses, deli counter, and kosher products.

Rick is correct. There are two spots with D'Artagnan products at MD. The one with the confit is toward the end of the deli aisle on the left side, past the saluma, in a case with dry sausages and other meats and cheeses.
There are also D'Atargnan duck and rabbit products in the packaged meat display, but the confit isn't there.
