Phantom Gourmet- crossed the line

In Boston, there is a radio and TV program that crossed the line of decency in a reprehensible sexist display. Usuallly they simply praise the Kowloon or other advertisers that buy time on their show

Tonight they reported on an incident where a husband struck his wife, who was driving, with a sandwich. They were trying to determine which sandwich would cause the most physical harm.

Other than not being funny, this show made light of spousal assault. One of the Andelman brothers,is a lawyer, and as an officer of the court to espouse throwing a sandwich at your wife is innappropriate at best. Anyone else hear the program?

Seriously....it would be way funnier if the wife hit the husband with a sandwich.

The Andlemans have always been self-serving idiots. Always have been, always will. Personally, I will never do a thing to support them. I won't go to their poorly-planned over-hyped events, won't buy their restaurant guide, nuthin'.

I honestly cannot figure out why these morons still have a tv show!! If they push wholly cannoli or firefly bbq one more time I will scream. And, yes, I know I can change the channel. But sometimes they actually review restaurants that are on my list. Not often, but occasionally.

It's Phantom Gourmet, they are not the brightest group of individuals on the planet. They are to food what Chef Boyardee is to Italian cuisine.

            I second that.

To me they appear like a bunch of sofa-jocks who want to spend their days stuffing their faces in Dunkin Donuts and KFC and watching a good football game.

One should not expect too much of them.

Perfect description. They pretend to have great taste and knowledge of food, but their show is a classic example of a extremely sophomoric attempt at humor and it has a complete lack of anything intelligent. If I'm going out on Saturday evenings and happen to turn to the station they're on while I'm driving to where I'm going, I usually flip the channel pretty quickly. They talk to hear themselves talk and laugh - contributing nothing of note.
