duck - fresh v. frozen

I've ordered fresh duck products (breast, legs for confit, foie) from d'Artagnan in the past. They also sell the same fresh-frozen and I'm wondering whether these are significantly inferior in quality. It would certainly be more convenient (and less expensive) to make one large order, especially around the holidays, rather than trying to time a number of different orders. Thanks!

    Super chilled/flash frozen then vacuum sealed is not a "loss" of quality if done correctly.
