Carnivore pleased with Pukk

Double-dated with a vegetarian couple last night, and found Pukk to delicious and satisfying, especially for the price. The spinach toast appetizer was fantastic, and all the entrees were spot on for flavor despite not having any glorious, oh, glorious meat...filling too. The only mediocre thing we ordered between the four of us was the apple fritter dessert--mainly the texture was off. But the sesame cheesecake was interesting, and I definitely recommend trying it (you might love it or hate it), the chocolate mousse cake was rich and devine, and the rice pudding had a crisp, distinct sweetness. Four non-drinkers had an appetizer, four entrees and four desserts for $80 including tip.
