Oh no, another Philly cheesesteak thread

Mister Big Dec 5, 2008 06:26 PM

I have one very specific question: where can I get a decent cheesesteak in Philadelphia on a Sunday?

Extra points: reasonable proximity to Institute of Contemporary Art at University of Pennsylvania.

Every day in Sunday when it comes to cheesesteaks in the city. Another thread won't help you. There are 5000 debates already!

I'm not looking for the best; just a good one that's open on Sundays.

Abner's is on 38th and Chestnut and open on Sundays. I've never been there, but I know people who say they are good.

Thank you for understanding my request.

I wonder if Daisy Mae works there.

Abner's turned out to be very good. Tasty huge sandwich at a very reasonable price, and just two blocks from the gallery. Thanks for the rec.
